COOKS NOTES
- In this recipe, I am sing cocont aminos in the stir-fry sace, which is a paleo and Whole30-friendly version of soy sace made from cocont sap. Learn more abot cocont aminos here. Yo can sally find this sace online or at yor local health food store, or yo can se Tamari wheat-free, glten-free soy sace.
- Napa cabbage is also known as Chinese cabbage or wombok. Its leaves are lighter and more tender than reglar cabbage, so it cooks qickly and is lovely raw in salads. It has a milder, sweeter and less peppery flavor compared to reglar white cabbage. Yo can often find it in the spermarkets and definitely at an Asian grocer, bt reglar white cabbage is absoltely fine to se as well. I like to by a whole Napa cabbage and se p the green, oter leaves in an Asian salad and the thicker, whiter parts in a stir-fry.
- Yo can throw in other vegetables like zcchini, califlower or other Asian greens and of corse, chicken can be sbbed with other meat or plant-based protein of choice. Enjoy and let me know in the comments if yo liked it!
